Diploma in Education (D.Ed.)

The Diploma in Education (D.Ed.), also known as Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), is a 2-year full-time diploma course aimed at preparing teachers for primary and upper primary (elementary) level education. Affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), this program equips students with foundational teaching skills, child psychology, and classroom management techniques.

Admission Procedure

The admission process for the D.Ed. program is typically as follows:
